Jesuit Martial Arts Academy

Soldier For Christ Martial Arts is proud to call Strake Jesuit College Preparatory our home!  After 6 years of continuous growth, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and Soldier For Christ Martial Arts have partnered together to further grow Soldiers For Christ Ministry.

Instructor Sowers has been the leader of Soldier For Christ Martial Arts since its founding in 2014 and is honored to become a member of the Strake Jesuit Family this Fall.  Soldier For Christ Martial Arts has previously served a wide range of students throughout many Catholic schools and will continue to serve the Strake Jesuit community to teach those students at the high school level who wish to further their training in a Catholic School of Martial Arts.  

The Jesuit Martial Arts Academy will meet multiple times per week throughout the year.  Our "season" is the entire school year from September to May.   Our calendar for the 2020 - 2021 school year is currently being scheduled and details for the School of Martial Arts will be given closer to the start of the school year. 

Our Founder, Instructor Sowers strives to ensure that all students are provided with opportunities to succeed, promote, and become better students in both Mind, Body, and Spirit.  Students work to earn their rank and learn their current ranking material which in turn determine their eligibility to test for a promotion.  In an normal year, four Promotion Opportunities are made available to students; however Instructor Sowers may adjust the testing calendar as needed.  Not all students will test every testing.  As students progress, the material becomes more challenging and will take more time to learn.  All students must also be in good standing with the academic school and Instructor Sowers to continue training and testing.
