MARTIAL ARTS TEAM AT STRAKE JESUIT COLLEGE PREPARATORY:
Strake Jesuit Martial Arts is now open. The Strake Jesuit Martial Arts teaches the traditions and teachings of Hapkido. Hapkido is taught as a beginner level self-defense based martial art and no experience is needed or expected to join. Both experienced and beginners are welcome and is challenging at both levels. The martial arts team currently meets in the morning from 6:05AM - 7:20AM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The martial arts team meets in the Martial Arts Gym 3.
Back to Basics! The martial arts was never meant to be about money; therefore Jesuit Martial Arts is designed to be free for students at Strake Jesuit. Students only purchase their personal gear for class, such as sparring gear or apparel they choose to buy. There is no registration fee, monthly tuition, or testing fee.
The Strake Jesuit Martial Arts Program is certified and endorsed under the Soldier For Christ Martial Arts system.
Strake Jesuit Martial Arts will meet multiple times per week throughout the year. In a normal school year, our "season" is the entire school year from September to May. Students advance in skill and rank as they learn and practice.
